Moules et frites, meal of champions
Aloha all,
I've had a beautiful week of vacation, it truly does a body good. What have I done you may ask? Nothing I'll respond. Truly, I didn't do much at all, just eat, drink and sleep. It's good to get back to the basics.
Suppose I should explain my title. Tom had an awesome idea of going for mussels and fries (a traditional Belgian delicacy, if you can call it that) at some point this week at a particular chain restaurant in Paris, Leon de Bruxelles (I'm sure you can figure that one out). The do mussels, big time. In a truly filling dinner that took course over 2 hours, we dominated giant bowls of mussels (dip baguette in the juice, sooooo good), far too many fries in mayo, delicious Belgian beer, and ended with a waffle covered in chocolate. Therefore this is my recommendation, especially for the guys out there. Get a good buddy, clear your afternoon schedule and give it a shot if you can find a restaurant similar near you. Let's just say that we both went to my apartment, put on relaxing music and splayed contentedly in chairs afterwards. Epic.
It has also been decided that this is the summer of cocktails. So I'm doing my best to try every damn mojito I can. Taking Europe by storm!
I got a chance to wrestle with an Olympic wrestler this week. Obviously, I got my ass handed to me, but it was quite fun to give it a shot. Unlike most North American wrestling, the Europeans prefer Greco-Roman over Freestyle, which is my preference as well. The difference being that you can't grab the legs, or use them for trips for that matter. Therefore, there are a lot of throws (as opposed to double or single leg takedowns), and pummelling. Anyways, here's a few photos of me rockin out:

So that was a lot of fun. I've been in discussions with Caecilie about letting me come out to Copenhagen and maybe I can actually go to the centre for a couple of afternoons and give it a shot. I'd get worked, but it'd be hilarious and a good learning experience.
Not too much else goin on right now. I'm heading off to Greece next week, so wish me luck.
Oh by the way, breakfasts in London absolutely rock. Who would've ever thought beans for breakfast to be a good idea? Surely not someone's girlfriend, that's for sure hehe.
