BAM!

So, Forrest took it, one of my blog predictions was finally right! There will be a lot of controversy I'm sure about it, but Rampage didn't do enough to win the fight in my humble opinion.

Life is good in Paris, as always. The sun is starting to shine regularly, and with it the humidity follows. I sweat buckets everyday on the train home from work, it's pretty disgusting actually. It's funny to see everyone's different reactions to the heat. Some people shift around all the time, lots of people fan themselves. Me, I just sit there and take it, it's all psychological.

I love linen, it's definitely my favourite fabric. I think I could deal with an extremely hot country simply because of this. By parental demand, here is a requisite picture of me in recently sent suit.

Now only now a panama hat and I could be the oil man who goes to Africa.

I'm supposed to be having a music exchange this weekend. They are one of my favourite things to do. I totally buy into this post-Napster idea that music is a vessel of culture only, and that it should be free. But because you enjoy, you have to support the artists one way or another. So, if they come in concert, I go to see them. Nonetheless, sitting with a good friend for an afternoon, listening to a bunch of music, hooking up all the hardware, drinking some beer; it's a good time.

Much props to Anderson Silva. The guy is a wrecking machine at 185lbs, and is stepping up to 205lbs on just over a month's notice. Not only this, but if he continues his winning (which I don't doubt he will), he wants to fight 3-4 more times this year. No shit, what a warrior. The quote I had heard was that he realizes he's in his prime so fight him as much as possible. I love it.

I think that's what I love about MMA, right now anyways. There are some guys out there that are leagues above everyone else, and they are few and far between. Watching Fedor Emelianenko, Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, and GSP, you see an artist at his craft. Fedor constantly moving and adapting, espeically on the ground, moves from on position to another so fast and seemlessly. Both Silva and Penn are monsters standing and on the ground, how would you like your poison? GSP will just blow your mind with athleticism, perfect game plan, and pure punishment he deals out. I've been catching up on my MMA now that I have internet.

Make your own mojitos people. They are absolutely delicious.
